Nadine Hilton

Practice Nurse, Child health nursing

Professional Background

Nadine begun her Registered Nursing Training at Bundaberg base Hospital and completed it in 1991, after which she ventured to Mt Isa for 12 months of Rural Paediatrics. Next came 2 years of caring for disabled adults in Toowoomba, but the pull back to nursing saw her return to the hospital. With a few different stints in a variety of wards, the majority of time was spent in a private paediatric Hospital in Toowoomba. A move to the big smoke of Brisbane and 3 boys later, she completed her Bachelor of Health Science, child health Nursing as well as her Nurse Immuniser certificate,  the lure of personalised patient care, regular family friendly hours  and the chance to keep in touch with returning patients sold General Practice to her.

Most recently Nadine’s personal experience with Breast cancer has given her a desire to help others through this difficult journey, to be a listening ear and supportive hand where ever possible. Nadine believes that Patient empowerment is a vital step in all aspects of health and illness .

Nadine has recently joined GO2 Health and is excited about the unique model of health care they present.
