Dr Davood Karimian combines extensive general practice experience with a strong focus on skin cancer medicine and surgery. Following his graduation from Tehran University, Dr Davood moved to Australia in 2006 and developed his clinical skills through hospital roles across Queensland, including positions in Townsville, Ipswich, Redcliffe, Caboolture and Prince Charles Hospital.
Over the past eight years, Dr Davood has dedicated his practice to skin cancer care, performing thousands of comprehensive skin checks and surgical procedures. He holds advanced certifications in dermoscopy and skin cancer surgery through HealthCert and the Skin Cancer College Australasia. Dr Davood brings his skin cancer focus and broad general practice skills to GO2 Health, where he delivers preventive, thorough and patient-focused care that aligns with our comprehensive approach to wellness.
Dr Davood is available for appointments on Sundays.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his two children and staying connected with friends and family.
