Amanda Bryen is a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience, specialising in Women’s Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing. Her clinical practice is dedicated to supporting women across all stages of adulthood. She offers a respectful, non-judgmental, warm and compassionate therapeutic space, grounded in the belief that kindness and empathy are central to meaningful psychological work.
Amanda works collaboratively with clients to develop new ways of thinking and practical behavioural strategies that enhance self-understanding and effective self-management. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based psychological therapies and trauma-informed care.
She provides counselling, psychological assessment, diagnosis and treatment for a broad range of concerns affecting women throughout adulthood.
Amanda has a strong interest in women’s health-related presentations. This includes perinatal mental health and perinatal psychology, perinatal and postnatal depression (PND), adjustment to parenthood, parenting support, and birth trauma. She also supports women navigating perimenopause and menopause, as well as providing counselling in relation to diabetes, lymphoedema and lipoedema.
