Darci Smith is an Accredited Practising Dietitian who completed a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours) at Queensland University of Technology.
Many patients may already recognise Darci from her time on reception, where her warm and approachable nature made her a familiar face within the clinic. Today, she combines that same patient-focused approach with evidence-based nutrition support to help individuals navigate their health and wellbeing goals with confidence.
Darci’s passion for nutrition was shaped by her own experience managing chronic disease in her early 20s. Through this experience, she developed a deep appreciation for the important role nutrition and lifestyle can play in supporting long-term health and wellbeing.
She takes a compassionate, patient-centred approach to care, working collaboratively with individuals to develop practical and sustainable nutrition strategies that fit their lifestyle, preferences and goals. Darci believes nutrition advice should be realistic, achievable and tailored to the individual, rather than relying on restrictive diets or short-term solutions.
Darci has a particular interest in chronic disease management, weight management, digestive health and FODMAP nutrition. She is passionate about helping people better understand nutrition and make informed choices that support their overall wellbeing.
With Saturday appointments now available, Darci offers greater flexibility for busy professionals, families and shift workers seeking nutrition support.
