Dr Andrew Ramage brings a unique blend of military service and medical experience to his practice. His remarkable journey began as an infantry Rifle Number in 1992, leading to his commission as a General Service Officer before graduating from the University of Queensland Medical School in 2010.
His expertise in military health is enhanced by Masters qualifications in Population Health, Health Management and Sports Medicine. He has also completed two years of additional hospital training in Psychiatry as an accredited Psychiatry Registrar. He has an interest in mental health and is a registered GP provider of Focussed Psychological Strategies.
Dr Andrew has a particular interest in the management of physical and mental illnesses that influence each other, such as chronic pain, depression, anxiety, PTSD, insomnia, metabolic diseases and head injuries, including suspected chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE).
At home, he enjoys walking along the Brisbane River and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
