Dr Heidi McKenzie

Biography

As a veteran’s partner herself, Dr Heidi McKenzie is particularly interested in supporting veterans and their families. She has substantial experience supporting veterans in their military-to-civilian life transition, including those looking to re-engage with support many years after military discharge.

She combines evidence-based medicine with a whole-person approach, believing that the best healthcare outcomes occur when patients are respected, heard and empowered in their health decisions. She values collaborative care, working closely with specialists and allied health professionals to help patients achieve their health goals.

When not caring for patients, Dr Heidi embraces her role as a mother to two beautiful little girls.

Please note: Dr Heidi’s books are currently closed to new patients.
