Kim Meden is an experienced Physiotherapist who completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland in 2006. She spent nearly 15 years working across major metropolitan hospitals before transitioning to private practice, bringing with her a depth of clinical experience across acute, complex, and long-term conditions.
Throughout her career, Kim has worked with people of all ages and at all stages of life, from critically unwell patients to those managing chronic conditions. She has also contributed to the profession through lecturing at the University of Queensland.
Kim has a strong clinical interest in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, with extensive experience supporting patients with conditions such as cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, emphysema, asthma, and pneumonia. She is also passionate about assisting patients in their recovery following surgery and enjoys working with both younger and older veterans, supporting the complexity and variety of care often involved in veteran health management.
With a hands-on, practical approach, Kim values clear communication and welcomes patient input to ensure treatment goals are shared and achievable. She utilises a combination of manual therapy, dry needling, education, and exercise therapy to support optimal outcomes.
Outside the clinic, Kim has been involved in Muay Thai and karate for many years and enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly hiking and exploring waterfalls. She also enjoys painting, drawing, and creative pursuits.
