Matthew Clifford

Physiotherapist

Professional Background

Matthew is a physiotherapist with a bachelor degree in physiotherapy and a bachelor degree in science (majoring in biochemistry). He enjoys playing beach volleyball, soccer, futsal and watching his team, Arsenal Football Club, perform worse and worse year after year.

Matthew first studied Swedish Massage and Remedial Therapy back in 2011 before continuing on to become a physiotherapist in 2017. He has worked as a sports trainer dealing with acute sports injuries for both Nudgee College as well as at Albany Creek Soccer Club.

He has a keen interest in helping those with neck, back and shoulder pain. He has developed excellent massage, dry needling and manual handling skills over the years. He has a great sense of humour, enjoys it when his patient's laugh and he loves his job as a physiotherapist.

Matthew strives to listen to his patient's diligently as he has learned that often the patients know best what is going on with their bodies. Throughout his career helping many people, he has learned how little he knows and how important it is to have a holistic and collaborative approach (available here at GO2Health) when helping his patient's get the best results.
