Naturopath
Professional Background
An original 80’s bush baby, Amy grew up in remote Northern Territory between a mango farm an hour south of Darwin, and on Groote Eylandt in the Gulf of Carpentaria, whilst doing her primary and secondary schooling in Darwin. On completing high school, she spent a year in Canada on a high school exchange, followed by another year there on a working holiday, sparking a love of travel and expat living. During a trip to visit her brother in Dubai in 2008, she accidentally ended up living there for nine years, before returning to Australia in 2017 for further studies.
Amy has a passion for the outdoors, simple healthy living, and herbal therapies. In her spare time, you will find her in the garden, hiking up Mt Coot-Tha or covered in mud, running obstacle courses.
Having always had a keen interest in health, staying active and a love of science, Amy was naturally drawn towards wanting to understand how the human body works, and the ways in which our food, sleep, exercise, stress, work, relationships, and environment impact upon our health.
For each consultation, she will take a comprehensive health history and provide you with a treatment plan that addresses changes you will need to make in your day-to-day living, so expect that there will be homework!
