Professional Background
Dr Inglis Chern graduated from the University of Queensland in 1991. He started training in general practice in 1994 and then veered into management to broaden his horizons. He completed a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Queensland in 1996. He has worked in management in a number of public hospitals and completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators in 2008. Other areas he has worked in includes research and development of medical devices, clinical trials, occupational health and allergy. He decided to return to General Practice in 2013 and completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner in 2020.
He brings a broad background of experience back into his general practice. He enjoys communicating and helping patients with the challenges they face. He maintains an interest in allergy medicine. He practises Tai Chi and can attest to its health benefits for seniors.
