Remedial Massage Therapist
Clinical Aromatherapist
Professional Background
Michele Pocknee graduated in 2022 from Endeavour College of Natural Health in Brisbane, with a Diploma of Remedial Massage. She has previously worked in private practice alongside Osteopaths, Physiotherapists and other Massage Therapists. She has a special interest in preventative health and general wellbeing.
Her skills lie in her ability to feel her client’s needs, through her work as a manual therapist, she has learnt to listen with her hands. Her client’s presenting conditions are treated from an anatomical perspective as well as a mind-body connection. She focuses on helping her clients return to health and wellness through a process of gentle touch therapies that have immediate physical and mental benefits, felt long after her treatments are over.
She offers her clients a variety of complementary treatments that can be done on their own, or as techniques in her Remedial Massage treatments, these include: Aromatherapy, Craniosacral Therapy (CST), Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), Reflexology, Bioelectric Massage and Pregnancy massage.
With Bioelectric massage and Meridian Therapy, she uses a small electrical signal through her hands, and follows the body’s meridian pathways to remove blockages and promote self-healing.
Her most recent training in Clinical Aromatherapy has deepened her knowledge as to the benefits of aromatic plant oils. Through the correct and safe use of essential oils you can accelerate desired results, the properties and chemical constituents act not only on the olfactory system, with direct access to the limbic system, but also, given the correct blend, the synergistic effects can be felt throughout the body when applied topically. The uses are varied including but not limited to insomnia, anxiety, mental tiredness, fatigue, circulation, inflammation, skin rashes, burns, scar tissue, respiratory congestion, muscular aches and spasms.
She believes in holistic integrative treatments for her clients and feels that GO2health is equipped to provide the healthcare services that will enable practitioners to support client goals.

She has previously exhibited with The Professional Photographers’ Association of Queensland and her work is featured in Steve Parish’s Masterclass Photography: A Pathway To Purpose.
